The students from Collings Lakes Elementary School visited the firehouse to learn Fire Prevention. The students learned the importance of: Smoke detectors, "Get out, stay out!", A family meeting place for emergencies, and Dialing 911. The students also had a chance to see a firefighter in full turn out gear with an air pack and face mask, so they would know what a firefighter looks like during an emergency; which can be very scary. Over all, the day was a great success towards the goal of Fire Safety.
